let's run to the desert or the sea on the 28th of july 2010

Summer here, and in between all the swimming parties, picnic parties, dancing parties, talking parties, short and long drinks and so on, i do work -more than ever in fact-, and have to find some time to sleep, and to manage my love story too, and feed the cats, etcetera, etcetera… What better excuse for not feeding this blog, life?

Well, you tell me we all do have a life, and most of you manage feeding the cats & a blog & having a succesful job, and a brillant love story even… I know, i know -maybe my problem is being too greedy -for love and friendship and sea bathing and all things that won’t feed a blog and/or pay the bills at the end of the day. But hey, i’m having fun! And i’m experiencing happiness!

How are you lovelies? Hope your tan is as seducive as mine (i’m not a UV addict in fact), and your smile as big as the sea is blue*

You know, the other day the heat was on as in hell, and we were trying everything we could to cool down. When suddenl i remembered a place my dad told me about. It’s downtown, it’s called Journo, and it looks shabby.

Journo, 28 rue Pavillon, 13001 Marseille, France

BUT it’s a family run tiny place where you can get the best and biggest homemade turkish delights (or loukoums as we call them). And i don’t have a clue on how on earth can one make homemade loukoum… Is it possible at all? Aren’t these people magicians?

OK, loukoums won’t cool you down, that’s for sure.

But lemonade will.

And not only do this magicians family make the best etc loukoums, but they also serve the best ever ever homemade stingy iced lemonade on earth. And remember, i was in Buenos Aires, Argentina, i know what i’m talking about… THIS will cool you down for hours.

Now you just have to come to Marseille, on the hottest day you find, and test it!

+ As you know now if you’ve clicked all the way down to here, i’m addicted. How could i not be…? This all sounds so HAPPY!

Besitos los うれしそうな !

@ G & Charlotte > thank you merci beaucoup! Wish we’d all meet someday on the beach somewhere… Don’t you think we should invent THE BLOG-FRIENDS DAY? That’s a brilliant idea!

Ah j’adore la citronnade de cette boutique!
Mathieu a d’ailleurs nommé sa petite maison d’édition Pavillon Journaud en hommage à ce lieu merveilleux!
