Bonjour! 友人こんにちは!

On New Year’s eve, i was extremely lucky: My super lovely japanese friends invited us to a traditional japanese New Year’s eve diner… Yumm!

japanese New Year's eve's diner // flowers (made of lotus i think) as a starter

japanese New Year's eve's diner // tiny delicious metaphorical things
+ I made Christmas crackers! Using my hands MORE is one of my New Year’s resolutions. I enjoyed making them, and filled them with little sweets.
+ See this pinkish paper there? My goddaughter played being a waitress, and she brought me this good looking piece of cake.

Nagi & Yuko bringing THE special bento (giant) box to the table...
I know Ai told me this superb bento box has a name, but i can’t remember what it is..? The inside was all edible beautiful and tasty treasures… On two stories!

THE special japanese new year's eve's bento box! #1

I know some of you are jealous by now… Aren’t you? I would be, if i weren’t me, haha*

And we got to play to this traditional japanese card game too (can you see it?). I kept losing, to the great delight of my not-even-4 years old god daughter who kept winning…

Happy Nagi
… And then Santa dropped a few presents under the Christmas-New Year’s tree,

Happy Nagi & Merry -late- Christmas
and then someone opened them,

happy Nagi under the christmas tree
and then…
I went dancing and drinking Champagne all night long!
(And felt a bit tired the next day, ahem…)
Have a wonderful day, you all ***
